The Missoula Marathon will host a Meet and Greet with world class marathon runner Collen De Reuck and her coach/husband Darren De Reuck, and you are invited to attend. The event will take place Friday, October 22nd, from 7 - 8 pm, upstairs at Runner's Edge in Missoula.
Colleen De Reuck has been in the Olympics four times, and in 2010 alone won the master's women in the USATF Cross Country Championship in February, won Copenhagen Marathon in May in 2:30, and won the master's women in Chicago last week in 2:34. She was USATF's master's woman of the year in 2009.
Besides the obviously successful coaching of his wife, Darren De Reuck is also an accomplished runner with a personal best of 2:16 in the marathon. He has coached everyone from elites to otherwise, and runs the official training program for the Bolder Boulder.
Colleen and Darren De Reuck are in Missoula to put on a running clinic Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th at Dornblazer Stadium.
